Is a New World Order on the Horizon?

“We shall have world government whether or not you like it, by conquest or consent.”

-James Warburg (CFR member)

Despite numerous references by politicians in speeches and publications, the term, “New World Order” is usually disregarded as abstract concept or a kook indicator in the mainstream media.  Among many Christians however, the idea of a New World Order is not as farce. Regardless of one’s faith, there is reason to believe that many of the elite that occupy key positions of power in society aspire for a New World Order and are working toward it.

Billionaire banker, David Rockefeller, whose family has been very influential in Western politics, has made numerous statements throughout the years in support of a New World Order.  In his Memoirs he states:

Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as ‘internationalists’ and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure – one world, if you will. If that’s the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it. (405)

Rockefeller has also said, “The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national auto-determination practiced in past centuries.”  Rockefeller’s admissions reveal that he, along with others, is trying to develop a one world structure and that he believes that there is an elite far superior to the common masses.

A plethora of influential leaders have echoed the same sentiment. Many of which belong to the Council on Foreign Relations of which David Rockefeller is the Honorary Chairman, or the Trilateral Commission of which he is the founder.  Secretary of State to Nixon and Ford, Henry Kissinger, National Security Advisor to President Carter and Obama, Zbigniew Brzezinski, and Secretary of State to Clinton, Colin Powell are all either CFR members or Trilateral members who have spoken in support of a New World Order. Others include President George H.W. Bush, President Nixon, Journalist Walter Cronkite, Prime Minister Gordon Brown, former UN Secretary General Kofi Annan and countless others.

But what is the Council on Foreign Relations? The CFR is an independent think tank dedicated to advancing globalist policies to bring America into a NWO.  In a document published by the CFR it stated, “The sovereignty fetish is still so strong in the public mind, that there would appear to be little chance of winning popular assent to American membership in anything approaching a super-state organization. Much will depend on the kind of approach which is used in further popular education.” Rear Admiral Chester Ward, member of the CFR for 16 years said, “The main purpose of the Council on Foreign Relations is promoting the disarmament of U.S. sovereignty and national independence and submergence into an all powerful, one world government.”  CFR member Caroll Quigley has stated that, “The Council on Foreign Relations …. believes national boundaries should be obliterated and one-world rule established. I know of the operations of this network because I have studied it for twenty years, and was permitted in the early 1960’s to examine its papers and secret records….”

The influence of the CFR cannot be overstated.  In a speech before the CFR in 2009, Secretary of State Hilary Clinton said, “It’s good to have an outpost of the Council right here down the street from the State Department. We get a lot of advice from the Council, so this will mean I won’t have as far to go to be told what we should be doing and how we should think about the future.”

Throughout the decades the White House has been full of CFR members that occupy the presidency and nearly every other cabinet position.  Over 10 CFR members fill various cabinet positions within the Obama administration as did in the Bush administration.

To have the clout that it possesses with the political elite, the CFR is not discussed in history and few know of its existence.  The CFR is the reason there is little difference in policy when one party transitions into office after the next. No matter who is in office there is a continuity of agenda—the continuance of policies that globalize US institutions and all aspects US society and challenge US sovereignty. These include NAFTA, GATT, SPP, NATO the WTO and the UN among many other programs.   We also continue nation building, toppling regimes that will not adapt to or stand in the way of Western agendas.

Members of the CFR and other globalist institutions truly do not belong to either side of the political spectrum, but influence both sides. There is no room for siding with the reds or blues when globalization and a New World Order is the goal.

David Rockefeller said, “All we need is the right major crisis and the nations will accept the New World Order.”  A New World Order will be presented as the answer to the world’s problems. It will be offered as the solution to global warming (now “climate change” after Copenhagen), immigration, international terrorism, and the current economic crisis.

The idea of a New World Order is not so much a conspiracy, but rather battle between those who prefer national sovereignty versus those who favor globalization.  The New World Order over the horizon will promise much but offer little for those outside the elitist clique.
